How to use ‘Screen Pinning’ option in Android L

Android Lolipop is an awesome OS  by Google, it has lots of great features and Material Design which look stunning. One of the new feature in Android Lolipop is ‘Screen Pinning’. It does exactly what it actually means; it pins the screen to a particular app.

It comes handy when you give your Device to some other person, for example: your friend borrow your phone to call as he say ‘my battery is dead’ or some other lines of this kind. Or kids asks you phone to play games. At this situation ‘Screen Pinning’ will allow you to lock on the app which they demand, and by pinning the other person can’t able to go other apps.

How to use ‘Screen Pinning’?

To use ‘Screen Pinning’ first you have to enable the feature, which you can find in the Setting > under Security (scroll and find ‘Screen Pinning’) enable it.

Now open the app which you want to pin, then tap home screen button (the round one).

Now tap the square button which will show recent apps. The most recent app will appear first, here you will see a pin. Tap on it and you’ve locked the screen, now the phone to use the current app.

To un-pin the app and regain full use of your phone, press back button and the square button together.
