How to open Desktop Websites on your Android Device

We all surf various websites on our desktop as well as on mobile phone or tablet and we can notice the interface of websites on desktop and mobile is different, but sometimes we really wants to get the desktop version of website on mobile due to different reasons, one of the main reason is we all more familiar with desktop version.

Before the tutorial I want to explain why the interface different. It’s because nowadays websites are responsive which automatically optimize for your phone or tablet display. It takes less data eventually helping your device in a better way.

Steps to open Desktop version of Websites on Phone or Tablet

(I’ve chosen 3 browser, Google Chrome, UC browser and Opera mini)

For Google Chrome

Step 1: Open your favourite site, I opened Google just to show you an instance.

Step 2: Tap on the three dots and tap the checkbox ‘Request desktop site’

For UC Browser

Step 1: Tap on the Settings -> Browser Settings -> Website Preferences.

Step 2: There you can see options like Lite view, Mobile view and Desktop view. Select Desktop view under the others.

For Opera Mini

Step 1: Tap on the Settings -> Advanced -> User Agent.

Step 2: Now select Desktop

That’s it now you access your favourite sites on full Desktop mode on your Phone, if you have any doubts or you’re using some other browser that aren’t mentioned here, let me know in the comments and I’ll be happy to help you.
