How to stop Chrome from running in background

Google Chrome is really awesome browser and people use Chrome more than other browser, the main reason of this is Chrome is the fastest internet browser as compared to other browsers, it is because Chrome uses DNS prefetching and speedy (SPDY) protocols. But on the other side, Chrome is the main reason of battery drain.

The Chrome browser doesn’t close completely when you exit from the browser and it’s because of some extensions and some add-on’s you have installed. Chrome continues to run in background and in this way battery drain. So I’ll show the way to fix it.

·        Open Google Chrome.
·        Check taskbar, you can see a small icon of Chrome and click on it.
·        A menu will pop-up find ‘Let Google Chrome run in the background’.
·        Uncheck it.

That’s it, you are successfully get out from Chrome.

Now I’ll explain how to turn it on again,
·        Go into Chrome’s settings.
·        Go to the bottom of the screen and select ‘Show advanced settings’.
·        Under the System, check the box next to ‘Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed.
