WhatsApp to discontinue from BlackBerry and other few platforms

The most favourite instant messaging app Whatsapp said that by the end of this year they will discontinue support for BlackBerry along with some other platforms.

WhatsApp will discontinue from the following platforms:

·        BlackBerry OS (including BlackBerry 10)

·        Nokia S40

·        Nokia Symbian S60

·        Windows Phone 7.1

·        Android 2.1

·        Android 2.2

By following this move it’s clear that WhatsApp wants to focus on platforms that are people use widely and stopping support to less using, if you are using a device based on the above mentioned platforms then switch to a new handset by the end of the year.
