In my previous
tutorial I showed you How to stop telemarketing Calls and SMS, in this tutorial
I’ll show you how can you file complaint against telemarketers if you still
receiving calls and messages after 7 days of registration of your number to stop
such services.
There are two methods
to stop all calls and messages from telemarketers.
Method 1: via Call
Dial ‘1909’ and call, you can file complaint
through IVRS (Integrated Voice Response System) or through Customer Care Executive.
Method 2: via SMS
You need to send SMS
to ‘1909’ in the following format:
The Unsolicited Commercial Communication,
xxxxxxxxxx, dd/mm/yy.
You have to send
message in the same format as mentioned above, ‘xxxxxxxxxx’ represents the
number from you got call or SMS whereas ‘dd/mm/yy’ is the date on which you
received unsolicited commercial communication.
After filing
complaint you will be informed of the necessary action taken within the 7 days
of time.
