How to stop auto playing videos on Instagram

By default, Instagram plays videos automatically for better user experience but if you are using mobile data then the activity consumes lots MB of your data plan. So, in this guide I’ll show you how to stop auto playing videos on Instagram.

Before you start, make sure you have updated to the latest version of Instagram app.

·        Open Instagram app.

·        Go to your profile.

·        Now tap on the three dots (on Android) or the setting gear on (on iPhone) to head into Settings.

·        Swipe and find the option ‘Cellular Data Use’,

·        Now choose ‘Use Less Data’.

That’s it! But this will not stop playing videos when you are using Wi-Fi.
