5 Powerful Shortcuts for Android Devices


You may be not using some really cool features in your android device, which will save your taps and time. So, in this article I’ll show you 5 most powerful shortcuts of your android device.








·        Launch Camera with Double Tap of Power Button

In the latest update of android (marshmallow 6.0.1) you can launch camera instantly with a double tap of the power button, it’s really a handy feature to capture a perfect shot.






·        Use Contact Widgets

We all have someone with we keep in touch always, you can create shortcut of contact widget, with this widget you can call or text in a flash. To add direct contact widget,

§  Long press on your home screen
§  Tap on the Contact Widget.
§  Scroll and find the Contact Section.
§  Choose which action you want Direct dial or Direct message.
§  Long press it and place on your home screen.
§  Now select the Contact.

That’s it, now you are just one tap away from your special one.



·        Unlock your Phone Automatically

Locking your phone stops unauthorized users to get into your phone, but if you using phone now and then than it annoy to unlock again and again.

·        Head to Settings.
·        Scroll down and find Security.
·        Now tap Smart Lock.
·        Here you can see two options Trusted Device and Trusted Place. These two options will unlock your device automatically.
·        Tap Trusted Device and pair with a computer or smartphone via Bluetooth or NFC. I’ve paired my PC as Trusted Device.
·        Now tap on Trusted Place and add a location which is safe for you to keep your device unlocked.

Note: You can unlock your phone automatically on Android v5.0 onwards, so make sure you have updated your device.


·        Use Quick Responses

Use quick response feature to let callers know why you’re not picking call, this feature can be use on Android Ice Cream Sandwich onwards. To set custom response,

§  Head to Dialer app.
§  Tap on the three-dots.
§  Select Settings.
§  Now Quick Responses, now edit your response.

You can send the response, just swipe up on the incoming call screen and simply choose the text you want to send.

·        Use your Voice for Everything

Just tap on the Google mic and command with your voice, Google Now will do everything for you in a flash.
