How to control your Smartphone from your PC wirelessly

In my previous blog: How to control Computer from Phone, today I’m just reversing things. Today I gonna show How to gain complete access on your Smartphone (Android) wirelessly. Just follow the steps to control your Smartphone from your PC.

Things needed:
Ø A Windows PC or Mac

Ø Wi-Fi connection on both PC/Mac and Android Phone

AirDroid is a free app to control your Android Smartphone from PC, it enables you to manage every activities of Phone on PC, Mac or on Web browser remotely. AirDroid is available in Windows, Chrome, Mac and Android, unfortunately iPhone or iPad doesn’t support this. You can also share files to your friend who uses AirDroid.

·        Download and install AirDroid from the link given above. It will ask you to Sign in, you can Sign in with your Facebook, Twitter or Google Plus or Sign up with your email id.

·        Now you need to enable notification access on your Android Smartphone. Tap ‘Enable’ and check box.

That’s it! You’re done with your Phone, now get your PC.

·        Download AirDroid for PC from the link given above. Once it downloaded, install it.

·        Now Sign in with the same account that you used to Sign in into AirDroid app on your Android device, in this way it will connect your Android Phone with PC.

·        Now you can see a popup at the bottom of the screen, which will be shown that your device is connected.

Transfer files wirelessly:

·        You can easily transfer files from your PC to Phone, just drag and drop the file which you want to transfer.

·        Things you’ve transferred will be shown in ‘File Transfer’ on your Phone, select ‘AirDroid Desktop’ and there you can see all the stuffs which you shared.

Notification Access:

·        AirDroid you can mirror all your notifications to your PC, it can be an incoming calls, messages or any other app notifications. And the best thing of AirDroid is you can interact with notifications even without touching your Phone, for example: there is an incoming call on your Phone, you can ‘answer’, ‘mute’ or ‘decline’ it right from your PC, you can even reply to text or Whatsapp messages.

You will get all notifications that are displayed on Phone, you can also check your inbox or contacts or even call history of your Phone from Desktop app.

You will notice a floating icon on the desktop, just hover on it you can see the device which connected, share files by drag and drop.

AirDroid Web:

You can also use AirDroid for Web service, visit web.airdroid.com to use it on your browser without installing Airdroid on PC. You have to scan QR code from the AirDroid app of your Phone to Sign in. But the AirDroid Web works when the browser tab is open, therefore AirDroid PC will give you the best.

Screen Mirror on AirDroid:

Screen mirroring can be possible with AirDroid but for that you have to root your Android device. Rooting will give you lots of amazing features and tweaks to your Phone or Tablet but at the same it is harmful to your device if you use it improperly and it will void warranty too. So if you rooting, do at your own risk.
Tap on the ‘location’ (shown in the image below) and check your device if it ask for root access, Grant the permission and continue to the PC. The whole screen will be mirrored and you can control your Phone screen with mouse and keyboard.
