Avast is a great
antivirus with effective defender features but with its recent update, the
antivirus software automatically adds it’s signature in outgoing emails. In
this tutorial I’ll show you How to disable Avast Signature from e-mail.
Follow the steps to disable Avast Signature
from e-mail,
For Avast version 2016.1.1.2245
·
Right-click
on the Avast icon in your system tray.
·
Select ‘Open Avast user interface’.
·
Select Settings the gear icon at top right
corner.
·
Under
General tab, uncheck ‘Enable Avast email
signature’
·
Now
restart your PC.
For Avast version 2016.1.1.2241
·
Right-click
on the Avast icon in your system tray.
·
Select ‘Open Avast user interface’.
·
Head to Settings.
·
Click ‘Active Protection’ tab.
·
Click ‘Customize’ next to the Mail Shield
option.
·
Click the
‘Behaviour’ tab.
·
Uncheck ‘Insert note into clean message (outgoing)’.
That’s it, you are
successfully disabled the Email signature.
